Yes it is! You should look at the Options, especially Gameplay you can easely change. So to full automatic, parking positions and many other things more. BUT you need to learn how to drive, and in the beginning you will probably have many chrashes when bumping into cars or difficulties to drive around corners.
How do I skip parking? just pull up in front of the other trailor's there and hit ENTER. Parking isn't so bad once you build up your confidence. You can always use the third-person camera to help when learning and as you get better, you will automatically just use your mirrors in the cab if you keep at it.
